Spill-Sorb is a general purpose particulate, designed specifically as an environemental alternative to Kitty Litter. Spill-Sorb is manufactured from 100% reclaimed cellulose fibres and will absorb a range of liquids including oils, solvents, coolants and non-aggressive chemicals on contact. Absorbed liquids are locked into the cellulose fibres, preventing the leach and handling problems commonly associated with rags and saw dust. Spill-Sorb offers a number of advantages over most other particulates.
- It is denser and therefore more suitable in outdoor environments where wind may dissipate the sorbent
- Works well on rough surfaces
- It has a natural fire retardency
- Contains no respirable silica
- It is non-abrasive
- Passes TCLP and liquid release tests, and is suitable for disposal via landfill if used for oily waste. (Please note, that this does not apply to all liquids - always contact local authorites to obtain permission)
