OPEC Systems' range of organic sorbents are general purpose absorbent designed to clean up all liquids, including water-based chemicals. These sorbents are manufactured from 100% reclaimed cellulose fibres, providing the most cost effective disposal options available including incineration / fuel blending, landfill and bioremediation. They are lightweight and have a high absorption capacity compared to mineral based sorbents.

Absorbent GP (General Purpose) is available in particulate, pillows, socks, natural fibre pads and natural fibre rolls. Absorbent GP is made from cellulose fibres that absorb all types of liquids on contact. Liquids are absorbed through capillary action and locked into the cellulose fibres preventing the leaching and handling problems associated with some other sorbent types.
