ENVI Assay System Gold and FL product lines contain sensitive and specific rapid tests for ricin toxin, SEB, botulinum toxin, B. anthracis and pox viruses (smallpox). They are used with ChemPro Reader Modules that operate as robust, compact and portable optional accessories to ChemPro100 Chemical Detectors and PC compatible readers with a PC-UIP. Together they form ideal and practical tools for provisional BWA identification from environmental samples (powders, surfaces, liquids, soil, air) in the field and in laboratories.
ENVI Assay System tests are based on handy and compact immunoassay format in which BWA-specific gold- (EAS Gold) or fluorescence-labelled antibodies (EAS FL) are utilised in capturing the BWA of interest from samples ( = lateral flow immunoassay). ChemPro Reader Modules run ENVI Assay System Gold/FL tests and analyse, announce and store the test results. It employs optical intensity measurement from test and control zones of the ENVI Assay System test cassettes and data analysis with image recognition algorithm.
